Discover “We Stand Together, “ celebrating the traditions and contributions of artist affiliated with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the United States. For more than 186 years, HBCUs have been central to Black Americans’ intellectual thought, culture, and art. This exhibit challenges stereotypes and encourages a more nuanced understanding of the diverse and unique voices within Black American art. Join us in promoting friendship, understanding, and cooperation between the people of Shanghai and Black America by showcasing the artistic excellence and legacy of individuals associated with HBCUs.
